Meet Rodeo Hero, Steven Reichard

Steven is 22 years old and has been a resident of the Lufkin State Supported Living Center since 2019. He is known for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and the pride he takes in helping others. Steven is respectful, polite, and truly values the people in his life, especially his family, whom he cares about deeply.

He is very proud of graduating from Central High School in 2022 and of his off-campus jobs, where he continues to show dedication and responsibility. Steven loves staying active—whether it’s swimming, participating in sports, or tackling daily chores with enthusiasm. He also enjoys the outdoors, from trips to the park to exploring new places and adventures, and he has a special gift for making friends and cherishes those relationships.

A true country music fan, Steven especially loves listening to George Strait. He also enjoys watching football and proudly cheers on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Steven attends Cross Timbers Cowboy Church and carries strong values that shine through in the way he lives each day.
